Job Description

The Pricing Supervisor has responsibility to lead a team that supports the marketing team from a pricing perspective and supports the vision and strategy of the Global Pricing Manager. The supervisor has the knowledge and abilities to perform the below responsibilities to support BHP Global Pricing.

  • Reinforce that Bemis has been built on the foundation of Ethics, Innovation, Accountability and Respect
  • Act as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities
  • Support global standardization and continuous improvement of Pricing Process
  • Restlessly fine tune data in order to maximize departmental results
  • Remove barrier for institution of timely and successful pricing
  • Business Analytics / Market Development
  • Support Product Managers in global pricing activities
  • Administer and organize pricing reports/files/bids
  • Create customized tracking reports as required; transactional (monthly activities)/pricing analytics
  • Identifies needed business requirements and makes adjustments as needed
  • Support global efforts toward regional process alignment and market pricing
  • Continuous improvement / keeps data creation basic and relevant
  • Team development (Human Capital)
  • Direct work activity, mentor, coach, train and supervise North American Pricing personnel in matters relating to costing, pricing and contract implementation

  • Communication: solid written and oral communication skills; advances internal relationships through strong collaboration; creates effective cross-functional alignment; ability to manage conflict
  • Extreme attention to data detail, integrity and accuracy

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in Business Finance, Cost Accounting, Statistical Analysis, Economics, Marketing or equivalent
  • Experience: 5+ years of pricing experience; 1-3 years previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Comprehension of price reporting process, methods and tools
  • Broad understanding of various programs (Costing, Pricing, SAP)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
  • SAP, IT, CRM experience preferred
