The Marketing Coordinator knows every aspect of the major marketing workflows and production processes, and makes sure things keep moving towards our stated deadlines. They are responsible for getting things done around the department. They will be successful by practicing rock-solid skills in organization, attention to detail, adaptability, and collaboration.
The role includes project management - staying on top of all of the critical pieces that make up marketing campaigns, programs or initiatives, ensuring that they stay on deadline and on budget. One of the primary duties is to be a sort of traffic cop; setting (or reinforcing) timelines, managing workflows, and setting up cross-functional check-ins or meetings as needed. This position is the glue that holds together the multi-channel integrated marketing strategies that build and support the various brands.
This role primarily includes corporate managing marketing campaigns, PR and media plans that support the US and International hotels. The right candidate will thrive in a fast paced and rapidly evolving environment, working to establish solid processes and to drive continuous improvement for efficiency and sustainable growth.
Some of the specific functions the role will plan corporate/brand promotions, PR, media, communications (external and internal), and brand programs. They will edit press releases and manage approvals for property promotional release. They will coordinate the corporate homepage new/offers content and assist property web masters with the same information. They will be responsible for monthly reports, meetings minutes and agendas, and internal newsletters. This role will manage Yardi invoices and order collateral material.
