Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Maintaining inventory levels, perform inventory analysis and replenish inventory as needed

·         Develop min/max levels for items

·         Interact with suppliers in expediting orders, building truckloads, and resolving issues

·         Analyze and allocate inventories

·         Develop solid relationships with suppliers, sales, customer service and operations

·         develop initiatives to reduce slow moving inventories and to improve inventory turns

·         Communicate complex inventory issues to manager

·         Generate, develop, and maintain monthly reports as assigned

·         Assist in inventory risk assessment mitigation activity

·         Expediting deliveries on select products

·         Seeking new sources of supply

·         Review inventory activities and recommend improvements

·         Place, firm, and expedite purchase orders

·         Monitor current part numbers and creates new numbers as necessary

·         Handle and reconcile receiving and invoice issues

·         Support Sourcing Specialist as required


·         Bachelor's Degree

·         3-5 years purchasing or inventory management experience

·         Previous inventory replenishment and buying experience

·         Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

·         Strong mathematical and problem solving skills

·         attention to detail and critical thinking skills

·         Ability to work as a team

·         Proficiency with AX and Microsoft Office (Excel)

·         Strong sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment is a must
