A position that provides a great opportunity for skills learning and professional development with involvement of all facets of the F&B operation. As a Food Service Attendant you would ensure the highest level of hotel guest satisfaction and F&B team performance in keeping with standards, core values and departmental objectives in terms of top-notch quality food service, preparation and presentation related to the guest hospitality program and banquet & catering events.


  • Maintain an organized, clean and neat work area and practices compliant with all health codes  

  • Follows all standards of conduct and standards of operations per GSH standards and core values.

  • Work together as a team:” Take care of our guests and take care of each other”.

  • Ensure presentation of breakfast & evening reception buffets is at a “4-Star” level of quality and maintained throughout the service period.

  • Ensure set-up, service and presentation for all banquet and catering functions is at a “4-Star” level of quality for buffets, plated meals, and breaks.

  • Participate in the kitchen food preparation and mis-en-place as needed for the hospitality program and banquet & catering events to include multi-tasking such as basic food preparation (slicing fruit, vegetables, making salsa, salads, and basic cooking skills with an oven, fryer, skillet and charbroiler),

  • During winter season assist in the preparation of lunch menu items and fulfilling guest orders.   Cleaning as you go in the kitchen, washing dishes, pots and pans.

  • Receiving, breaking down and stocking food & beverage, and supply deliveries.      


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Lifting items up to 75 pounds such as food product boxes, bus tubs, banquet tables, chairs, etc.

  • Ability to be on your feet for the entire shift

  • Ability to multi-task and function flexibly in a team/guest service-oriented environment.

  • Desire and willingness to grow, develop, professionally and learn new things.
