ROLE OVERVIEW

This role will provide sales coverage by telephone for new account acquisitions, while penetrating assigned target market for additional profitable business. This is an advanced level position requiring more independent management of accounts with the potential of limited travel.

It is the expectation that this position will evolve into an opportunity for an Outside Field Sales Account Manager role with regional territory within 1 – 2 years. Representative needs to have flexibility to relocate to another state based on staffing needs within the Outside Sales Team.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
  • Represent company in alignment with core values at all times
  • Effectively manage working capital directives, sales plans and rolling forecast
  • Proactively seek out and attend customer audits, trials with Technical Services, Field Sales Reps and Directors as needed
  • Consistently seek out guidance and direction from both IS Integrated Management as well as Sales and Marketing Directors
  • Ability to effectively negotiate business deals
  • Establishes rapport with key personnel for new and existing accounts
  • Provides training and guidance to Integrated Sales Representative and new hires as needed
  • Become proficient with understanding of assigned markets. Continues education of all company products, company equipment and customer equipment
  • Maintain positive professional and effective interactive relationship with Customer Service, Marketing, R&D, Graphics, Sales Management, etc.
  • Participate in trade shows, and attend as appropriate Market Segment Sales and Pricing Meetings
  • Visit customers within a reasonable geographical area as needed to support customer needs and gain experience for future Outside Field Sales Account Management opportunity
  • Exhibit consistent progress throughout each step of training and developmental program
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of company products, processes and value added proposition to prepare for Field Sales Account Management opportunity
  • Meet sales plan and manage accurate rolling forecast on assigned accounts
  • Obtain and develop new opportunities in company's core target markets to support growth and profit expectations to enable differentiation in the market
  • Meet working capital goals by managing aged inventory and days on hand inventory based on sales objectives

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four year college or university in a related field; or equivalent combination of
  • education and related experience
  • 9 to 12 months of successful Sales or related experience
  • Ability to relocate anywhere within the United States throughout the program
