Our client, a global luxury brand, is seeking a Digital Designer, Email to join their team in New York City. This role will play a key role in supporting the Digital Art Directors on all key marketing initiatives with a focus on email design. The Digital Designer, Email will create compelling, timely digital and email experiences that address company’s strategic needs in support of the digital creative team.
The Digital Designer, Email will be responsible for digital design in email. S/he will create new, innovative and scalable email layouts, templates and aesthetics in partnership with Creative, CRM and Brand Management teams. S/he will conceptualize and design content series deployed via the email channel in collaboration with Creative team. S/he will evaluate performance and apply learnings into future designs with Creative, CRM and Regional Marketing teams. In addition, this individual will create design for regional email needs. S/he will pilot new email vendor technologies and approaches with Creative, CRM and IT teams. S/he will prepare and manage retouching and other production needs on own projects. S/he will collaborate and brainstorm content strategy with Copywriter, Art Directors, and Creative Directors. S/he will support larger digital team on general design needs where suitable as determined by team (projects may include website updates, email, banners, app). Lastly, s/he will partner with project managers to meet deliverable deadlines.
The Digital Designer, Email will be responsible for project management. S/he will work within schedules and budgets while managing own workflow from concept to execution. S/he will ensure the level of excellence in all creative work produced and executed is consistent, cohesive and stays on-brand. She will uphold highly disciplined quality assurance before hand-offs of all projects.
The Digital Designer, Email will foster cross-communications and idea sharing with Art Directors across Global Marketing department. S/he will communicate with all teams and project managers during various stages of design and project development. S/he will participate in internal meetings as well as interact with external vendors where needed.
The Digital Designer, Email will research and keep abreast of latest interactive technology, developments and trends in the digital and email landscape as well as evaluate suitability for the brand.
