We are seeking to hire a Broker/Advisor to assist in our efforts to grow our presence in the Greater Chicago area. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with and obtain guidance and mentoring from seasoned professional advisors in order to achieve mutual goals on individual and company growth. You will receive training to be able to handle an assignment from opportunity creation through the close of the transaction.

Responsibilities

  • Secure new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling additional CRESA services.

  • Develop market expertise to provide tenants with pertinent information on current market conditions, property values, real estate trends and CRESA services.

  • Compile property and market data for clients and prospects, such as market surveys, summary reports, and presentations for tenant representative assignments.

  • Engage in local business community and charitable events, as well as industry and professional associations for the purpose of creating new contacts and generating new business.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in company databases.

  • Ongoing continued education and involvement in commercial real estate.


Requirements

  • Current Illinois Real Estate License, or be willing to obtaining one within first 30 days of employment

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in a business-related area

  • Desire to make real estate a career choice and earn a six figure income

  • Previous NEW business development sales and account development experience

  • Proven track record building and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Entrepreneurial approach to business—desire to evolve into straight commission compensation with unlimited earnings potential

  • Ability to work well with others

  • Strong math skills and problem solving capability
